House Cross Country: Spirit and Determination on Display

Body

The two House Cross Country events for Form 4 and also Forms 5 and 6 saw the pupils come together in a celebration of perseverance, teamwork, and inclusivity. With both short and long courses available, every child had the chance to contribute to their House.

Throughout both cross country events, the atmosphere was one of encouragement and support. The pupils cheered on their peers, embodying the School's values of resilience and sportsmanship. Every effort was recognised, with House points awarded for participation and performance, reinforcing the importance of both individual achievement and collective success.

The cross country highlights the inclusive nature of the event where determination and commitment matter just as much as speed. Each runner, whether finishing at the front or pushing through to the end, played a vital role in making the afternoon a success.

I thought I could only manage the short course in cross country, but I pushed myself to go for the long one - and did it! I felt proud of what I achieved for my House.
