Our youngest cohort took to the stage for the first time at the end of last term to perform 'A Wriggly Nativity'. The Kindergarten children delivered exactly what was promised - a heart-warming tribute to the nativity story full of songs, dancing (including audience participation!) and lots of wriggling!
The children sang “We’re so excited, we can’t sit still” about the birth of Jesus Christ amid other musical treats, such as 'Donkey Plodding', 'Bumping Up and Down On A Camel' and 'Twinkling Stars'. The children performed with great enthusiasm, showcasing their skills in acting, singing and dancing and they all threw themselves into the nativity with gusto, dancing and performing the actions they had practised over the term. The audience was treated to a festive treat as the story of the meaning behind Christmas unfolded complete with animals, shepherds, stars, angels and wise men.
"Kindergarten gave two delightful performances, first to the rest of the children in Byron House and the staff and then to their parents and families. We are so proud of them all after only just one term at school! The audience left the hall with the catchy songs in their heads and definitely ready for Christmas."
