St John’s College Choir released their latest recording, ‘Kyrie’ on Friday 15 September 2017. The recording features major works from three European composers: Francis Poulenc Mass in G, Zoltán Kodály Missa Brevis and Leoš Janáček Otčenáš. ‘Kyrie’ is the fourth disc on the ‘St John’s Cambridge’ label in collaboration with Signum Records.

More content and information on the disc can be found on the Choir’s website, http://www.sjcchoir.co.uk, and on Twitter and Facebook.

A live performance of the Janáček’s extraordinary Otčenáš will take place at Evensong (in Chapel at 6:30pm) on Saturday, 7th October 2017. As on the recording, the Choir will be performing the work with tenor soloist Michael Bell (a current member of the choir) and harpist Anne Denholm, the Official Harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales. Copies of the disc will be available afterwards.
